Small Groups

As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.

Proverbs 27:17

Small groups at St. Peter's-San Pedro are powerful and impactful. They help us to prepare for and conduct beautiful liturgies (the Altar Guild and Flower Committee), explore and discern God's Word in Holy Scripture (Online Weekly Bible Study), dismantle racism in our church and community (Antiracism Team), understand our church history (Historic Interpretation Committee), green our physical plant (St. Peter's-San Pedro Green Team) and preserve our historic buildings (Historic Preservation Committee).  If you have a desire, experience or interest in any of these efforts, let us know so we can connect you to get involved!

In addition, we offer community meet ups twice a month to explore theology among parishioners and members of the public and to listen to our neighbors.  Pub Theology takes place on the last Tuesday of each month at East Regiment Beer Company from 6pm to 8pm--an informal discussion of all things theological among friends and acquaintances. Scripture on the Steps, takes place on the steps of St. Peter's on Fridays at 3pm in June and August.   And Dialog in the Park takes place at Lafayette Park on the first Thursday of the month at 1pm in good weather to listen to and share stories with our neighbors.  Join us!
